Bomb threat to IndiGo flight – oneindias

A bomb threat was issued to an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Varanasi today (28).

The passengers then exited through the emergency door. Quarantine for in-flight testing.

The flight was scheduled to take off at 5.35 am. Passengers were evacuated after a bomb threat. This has also been confirmed by the aviation security department officials. Notably, the video of the passengers exiting through the emergency door went viral on social media. There were 176 passengers in it.

The plane was reportedly checked by bomb experts. Delhi Fire Brigade has also reached the spot. In this regard, Indigo Airlines has said:

Indigo flight ‘6E2211’, which was on its way from Delhi to Varanasi, received a bomb threat at the Delhi airport. All necessary protocols were followed and the aircraft was diverted as per the guidelines of the airport security agencies. Testing is currently underway. After that the plane will be brought back to the terminal. Passengers were evacuated through the emergency door.

‘Bomb will explode in 30 minutes’ was reportedly written on tissue paper in the plane’s lavatory. Necessary security measures were followed. An official of the Central Industrial Security Force said that it was found to be a hoax after further investigation.
