Election campaign stage accident in Mexico. 9 people lost their lives.

Chennai: Nine people have been killed so far in an accident in which the electoral campaign platform of the Citizens Movement Party in Mexico collapsed. 50 people were injured.

Mexico will hold presidential elections on June 2. In this election, Jorge Alvarez Menez is running as the presidential candidate on behalf of the Citizens Movement Party. A campaign platform was set up for Jorge Alvarez Maines yesterday in the city of San Pedro Garza García in Mexico’s northern state of Nuevo León.

Due to strong wind where the campaign platform was set up, the campaign platform collapsed and caused an accident. It has been reported that 9 people have died in this accident so far. According to reports, 50 people were injured and are being treated at the hospital.

In this regard, Nuevo Leon Governor Samuel Garcia posted on his social media page that he personally visited the hospital where the accident victims have been admitted. A total of 9 people including 8 adults and 1 boy have died so far. He mentioned that proper treatment is being given to the injured.

Presidential candidate Jorge Alvarez Menez said, “I have never seen such a sad news.” Officials should properly investigate the accident. He also expressed his grief over the deaths.
