Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras) Chennai and Indian Institute of Technology ROBAR have joined the partnership. It will help the students pursuing BS degree (Data Science and Applications) at IIT Chennai to pursue campus courses with admission route for MS course at IIT Robar.
This partnership will enable IITs to conduct courses at IIT Ropar Chennai Also helps in completing B.S. The MoU for this collaboration was signed today (August 28).
What does this collaboration offer?
– The selected IIT Chennai BS (Data Science) degree program will help the students to get direct admission in MS course at IIT Robaril without GATE exam.
— IIT Chennai BS students can spend up to one year at IIT Robar
— IIT Chennai BS degree students can apply for summer research programs offered by IIT Robar
— IIT Chennai BS degree students can pursue courses and placements under IIT Robar faculty
— This MoU enables IIT Robar undergraduate students to study data science and programming courses offered in IIT Chennai BS programme.
-Additional student exchange programs, internship opportunities and other joint ventures will also be supported.
IIT Gandhinagar and Chennai Institute of Mathematics have already opened their campus courses for eligible students of IIT Chennai BS (Data Science) degree. IIT Chennai launched its 4-year BS course in Data Science and Applications in June 2020.
