After the success of KGF films, Prashant Neel directed Salaar. The film was produced by Vijay Krakanthur on behalf of Hambale Films. Shruti Haasan played the female lead in this movie while Prabhas played the lead role. Prithviraj, Bobby Simha, Shreya Reddy and others played important roles.
