Apple Vision Pro Flopped ! – Big Lost – Why?

When the $3,499 mixed-reality headset goes on sale in 2024, no doubt diehard Apple enthusiasts and VR/AR hobbyists will bring their sleeping bags and line up outside the Apple Store doors.—–A recent report by noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo that Apple has cut its Vision Pro shipments even though it has only been out for three months.Apple just learned a $1.4billion lost lesson in how companies can be too product-oriented and not market-oriented enough. That is how much revenue the company will roughly lose after it recently cut sales projections for the $3,500 Vision Pro VR headset in half from around 800,000 units to 400,000 units.

-Reason for the flop

  • The Very High Cost of Innovation
  • Technical Limitations and User Experience
  • Physical Uncomfortable
  • Health Issues
  • Don’t Have Application (Usage)

—High Cost of Innovation—

The Apple Vision Pro, priced at $3499 for the base model, is arguably the most expensive product that Apple has released recently, especially with regards to the size-to-price ratio. I mean, this is one of the smallest Apple Products, which could somewhat be considered the size of a pair of sunglasses (for the lack of a better comparison) that costs as much as a top-end MacBook Pro. The Apple Vision Pro’s price point is miles ahead of any of the competitors’ products. For context, the Meta Quest devices cost anywhere between $500 — $1000, and AR or VR headsets from many other companies can even be purchased for as little as $299.Apple’s pricing strategy for the device suggests that it may be positioning it more as a luxury item or a tool for enterprise users rather than an accessible device for everyday consumers, like most of their devices.

—Physical Uncomfortable—

Many early reviews and user feedback from popular Tech YouTubers and journalists have pointed out some discomfort associated with wearing the headset, possibly due to its design or the weight distribution. Some users have also reported difficulties in  a uncomfortable fit. This product’s high weight is the main problem of this.

—Health Issues—

We’ve all heard that screens aren’t good for your eyes. So it might not be too surprising to hear that many Vision Pro users have complained about eye strain. (After all, the headset does use two 4K screens, one in front of each eyeball.) However, these are common complaints from overall VR usage and experts say it isn’t something to freak out over.A MarketWatch report highlights concerning anecdotes from users who have encountered headaches, neck pain, and even black eyes after using the Vision Pro.Ian Beacraft, CEO of Signal, another Vision Pro owner, shared his struggles with persistent pain at the base of his skull and upper back.Apple is yet to officially address these user concerns. When contacted by MarketWatch, they refrained from commenting and instead directed users to their standard user guidelines. These guidelines recommend taking frequent breaks every 20-30 minutes during initial use and stopping entirely if any discomfort arises.

—Don’t Have Application (Usage)—

Apple Vision Pro is the Hi-Tech Gadget. But this gadget doesn’t have any application(Usage) . If you think practically on you day-to-day life , It’s doesn’t having any possible usage that only available on it . Practically , If you want to attend a call you most use your phone for easy access and you doesn’t where this weighty glass for only attend the call . And editing also like this . So this product doesn’t have specific feature for the value for money.

—Conclusion—

Apple Vision Pro doesn’t worth for money. You can buy a High-End-Pc and the Best Smart Phone for this very high amount of cash! So Don’t buy This . 🙂
